Popular Post paulrs
Poor first half, much improved second. Tough call on a MOTM but I'm just going to give it Musaba for helping force the first, setting up the second, and generally working hard and having one of his better days. Thought all the subs did well too. Beadle 7 Palmer 7 Ihiekwe 6 Famewo 5 Valentin 5 Vaulks 8 Bannan 6 Johnson 8 Musaba 8 MOTM Windass 7 Ugbo 5 Diaby 6 Iorfa 7 Smith 7 Gassama 7 Paterson 7

Since 1971
It's great to have such a hard choice after a great performance from most of the lads. Windass for pure skill and turning up when it matters again. Johnson for crucial contributions in both boxes. But I most admire when a player is prepared to get hurt and potentially risk his career for our cause. Will Vaulks gets my vote today, for the 50-50 challenge that started the move for the second goal.

lukeyswfc
Gone for Vaulks. Also Gassama was outstanding when he came on to relive pressure and win free kicks.
island owl
Beadle 7 Palmer 8 Gave it his all Ihiekwe 7 Lets hope he is back fit for final games Famewo 4.5 poor show, did he have the right boots on Valentin 6 Vaulks 8.5 (man of the match) Bannan 7.5 some great tackles Johnson 8 much, much better Musaba 6 a bit better, but needs to look at decision making Windass 7.5 n=best game in a long time Ugbo 6 Still looks lost Diaby 6 Gave blood for the Owls Iorfa 7 Smith 7 Gassama 7 Paterson 7

Ponte_Owl85
Gotta go with Vaulks. Don't think anyone had a bad game, Bambo made me nervous as usual but got his head on a few. Mention for Johnson and Windass, a lot of us (including myself) have been questioning their commitment of late but put a shift in today. If only Windass was more consistent
HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
Neymarv for me, his best game in a while, and that clearance second half was brilliant, I didn't think he would get there Hats off to Vaulks too 2 Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife. Musn't Grumble
Vaulks.... THAT tackle! Left everything on the pitch... came off in a shopping bag.
1952Owl
Has to be Vaulks mom. Thought Pol was quiet. Musaba clumsy as ever. Famewoo. Not convinced. No pace. Windass one piece of class. Marv improved after 5 poor games. Iorfa seemed to calm us when he came on to play centre half. + Relieved when Pato came on big time. You just know he will get stuck in and be a nuisance. Second half so much better. We got some luck for a change re the 3rd goal. Phew!
JohnnyQuinnsQuiff
Pears…. Header took their defence out for the first and a class finish for the third. I hope he gets included in the win bonus.

wakefieldowl
Brilliant second half I thought we kept them at arms length really well i expected to still draw 3-3 or something but “ midfield “ were brilliant keeping them in their own half
BadBoy1762
Couldn't vote Pears so Went Johnson that run for the second goal was epic! And the last ditch clearance in penalty area was equally brilliant
Ash77
Beadle 6 Palmer 6 ok but poor missing the target with space and time, lost ss for a near 2nd Ihiekwe 6 Famewo 3 switches off, poor positioning, no chance catching szmodics/anyone half quick so suicide playing a high line with him, bad miss, poor passing, need iorfa/diaby starting now been exposed alot this season Valentin 6 Vaulks 8.5 MOM heroic tackle Bannan 6.5 Johnson 8.5 poss mom, did well at both ends Musaba 8 lovely assist, worked hard Windass 8 goal of season cutting across that to lob with swerve Ugbo 6 quiet but starved a bit Diaby 7 Brave and was solid Iorfa 7 look better with his pace at back Pato, gas, smith 6 Spirited away team performance, blackburn only looked a threat in behind and we looked vulnerable with a high line like for the ss goal tho. They were clean through again when we were winning but ruled offside, famewo may have/nearly played him on but got lucky, then ss got in behind again but missed, so they got in behind 2-3 times for 1v1s. Need to learn to drop a few yards, be solid and counter away/when winning with our pace uptop, and not conceed silly goals like today/stoke game having just scored, but overall a well deserved courageous win, its on
Tapeworm
Gone for Johnson as he performed excellently the whole game. Thought Vaulks struggled first half but was sensational in the 2nd. Not convinced again by Famewo, surprised he’s had so much game time this season.
