If you can get 25-30 games out of him in a season I think he is always worth a new deal. No doubt in my mind he’s one of the best defensive players outside the Premier League when fully fit. Made it look so easy yesterday. Hopefully we can get as many games as possible out of him before the end of the season. Just been saying in another thread that we need a backup for Luongo in the squad. Surely Sam, with Dunkley to his left, and Iorfa to his right, is a quality unit for this level? Remember at the start of the season when we all thought we'd never concede a goal?
