Wages issue rearing it’s ugly head again

Tbf, this season has all the same hallmarks of the previous few.

The performances are so poor (for the most part) that you have to wonder if there is more to it than Moore being a bit crap.

Have we got ourselves another patsy desperately trying to keep things together whilst the ship hurtles towards another iceberg?

Good old Captain Bellend (Chansiri) in charge.

It could be worse, we could be a club with no ambition like Brentford

I'm not sure we are much of a club these days.

We are an empty vessel. Most who go to Hillsborough these days do so out of habit, not because they enjoy it. The ground is largely lifeless. It's like the zombies in Dawn of the Dead going back to the shopping mall.

Good analogy.

Say a player got an injury..........

How keen would he be to getting back to working his socks off if he wasn't getting paid properly?

Just a thought.

I suppose it depends on the attitude of the individual, but not the greatest incentive to give your all.

Same as the mind set of the injury time goals conceded, or the heart to come back from behind to get a win.

Could it all be linked to getting paid in full & on time? Who knows?
