striker Posted April 7, 2021 Share Posted April 7, 2021 Not convinced by Alonso, something not right about the way he went about courting fans on social media etc. Proper wealthy owners don't do that. I mean, a European agent/advisor/spiv with a bit of swagger and claiming to have knowledge of the game could make a lot of money from a gullible Eastern business man who doesn't know what he's doing couldn't he ... Animis Posted April 7, 2021 Share Posted April 7, 2021 Makes you wonder what the motivation is for these buyers - inevitable trading losses seem to be the outcome - Man City the latest. I get the prestige but really, it's just a loss-making hobby with players holding the clubs to ransom. This guy seems like an enthusiastic front man/agent and appears to have served his clients well in getting the deal over the line.
