It was Chansiri not wanting to sell that scuppered any potential deal. At most all is shows is most football fans don’t know a lot about buying football clubs. Anyway, I’m glad Alonso isn’t buying us. I’m hoping DC is holding out for an offer from Red Bull!

Much will depend on what the new owners do when they arrive. When the investors come in will they take advice from people who know what they're doing? Or will they decide to run it themselves or even let Homer Simpsons lodger Erik run the show...and risk finding themselves in a similar situation to another famous old Championship club...

RedDragonOwl
Got Notts County written all over it. There is no reason for an investor or group who wishes to buy a football to use him as a front. If an investor wanted a front, they'd hire someone who is established within the game, and who is credible. Eric Alonso is neither.

Maybe it's just a future incarnation of what will happen to Pride Park when Alonso has finished with it? He just pretends he has on the internet. That's the most important skill these days, pretending you have things and do things on the internet. But don't tell anybody or the whole world will collapse.
