Plonk
I’m biting my tongue and waiting to see where we are after ten games as I said I would. But I am worried.

We all know it will be no better after 10 games. I judge Monk on his whole career, not just the disastrous last 12 months. Not good reading any way it's spun.
Morepork
I’ve also committed to giving GM the benefit of a dozen games. That aside, as I’ve pointed out previously, we can have no complaints if this all this goes horribly wrong because virtually every statistic told us it would. His managerial career can be spun both ways Did well - Led Swansea to 12th in his first full season Got a previously struggling Leeds side challenging for promotion Harshly sacked at Middlesbrough when form was improving and 7th in the league Kept Birmingham up despite a points deduction Had Wednesday 3rd in the table before the players downed tools after Christmas Poor manager- Sacked after a inheriting a decent side from Laudrup at Swansea Late collapse at Leeds after looking certs for the playoffs at least Spent a fortune at Boro, failed and sacked Mid table and sacked at Birmingham 3rd at Christmas to battling relegation in his first season at Wednesday. 1 win in 14 home games and freezing out of key players Edited October 11, 2020 by Django

Prosecution rests it's case. The jury needed a matter of minutes to conclude that it was a ridiculously stupid appointment destined to end in relegation. It's bad enough having a Chairman who isn't very good. Chuck in a proven bad Manager, and what chance did we have ?
Pastor Kidneys
If Monk pins his colours to the 3-5-2 at home then don't expect too many exciting home wins ... Counter attack doesn't work at home. Alternatively, I think 3-5-2 away from home can work for us but we need to play 4-3-3 at home which can become a 4-5-1 when we're under the cosh. We need more flexibility in our approach to different games.
BIG D
Our home form will take us down if it doesn’t improve massively. 2

4evaowl
Those stats are truly appalling, particularly given the real lows in the seventies.

Obviously goals win games and since we've only 6 scored any at home in 13 matches this year, it's not surprising we've not been winning. The last time we scored more than 1 at home was v Brentford 7th December 2019, so hopefully that's an omen for the next home game. ...come on Monk.....you’ve got this!

0114
If we don’t lead at half time against Brentford... It will be 1 YEAR since we last did so at Hillsborough! There is currently no intention to go and win games at home. Sit back. Pinch a goal in 2nd half. Defend one goal lead. Throw it away. Repeat. 5

Blue and white
Our home form is that bad that 99.9 of managers would have been sacked months ago, sadly not us. Absolutely ludicrous decision to allow Monk to bring his backroom staff, that's going to cost Chansiri a few quid when it comes to paying them off in a couple of months.
