As people are predicting they will win their next match before every game at the moment, someone will definitely get the prediction right at some time

Can’t see many points on the horizon at the moment but Palace are woeful at present, got 7 put past them last week and got battered by 10 men the other day

They are woeful...but then you seem to be ignoring the fact that Dem Blades haven't won a league game all season.

That one may well end up being a draw, we will see.

Basically, he's blaming the players and their lack of quality...ignoring the fact that every single one of then (bar Basham) are his signings.

Constantly hides behind the fact they are running around a lot and only losing by one or two goals. The reason for the latter is because they set up with a back five and play with naff all attacking intent.

As he has done on many occasions, he's playing up to the fans and deflecting from his own shortcomings:

"I'm motivating the players, coaching them well, but they're not showing enough quality."

I'm sorry, but you don't go on a run like this unless something is massively wrong.

Think.it was Danny Murphy on the radio the other week who said that teams have sussed them out. Like you say they play with 5 at the back and the wing backs are their attacking option in the past breaking with pace. Teams have stopped that in the main and the rest is history.

Yep.

No plan b.

They had style of play and the novelty of overlapping cbs. At some point, pl teams would get wise to it and they would need to mix it up a bit.

All they've done is get progressively more and more defensive and negative. The cbs don't really bomb on now.

They've always had a plan B. Take off Basham, put on another humble £10-23m striker, hoof it and hope.

Sadly that rarely works either.

I know it’s a lot to ask but wouldn’t it be brilliant if they managed to go all season without a win. Saw a comment the other day “ at least mc cabe won’t be picking the next manager”. No. He won’t it will be a man with zero knowledge of picking a boss. So that’s better then.

No matter what we think of United, it's not good seeing headlines like this regarding our fellow Sheffield team on national news sites, is it?

It's flippin' brilliant!

:duntmatter:

The thing is, the Premiership is such a big deal nowadays that it's actually worldwide humiliation. The longer this run continues, the more publicity they'll get. 🤣🤣🤣

I thought the three Christmas games gave them a chance of narrowing the gap - They simply have to win at least one and draw the other of the next two games, just to avoid totally being cut off.

Having watched some of the 2nd half last night, they are just one-dimensional - not really changed from last season, just a worst keeper; opposition teams knowing how to cancelled their threat and general lack of confidence; particularly up front.

If they don't start scoring they're done. If they don't start to be more expansive they're done. Wilder knows this, but is scared to expose his defense as plucky 0-1 defeats are more humbling than 1-3 losses.

Just found this on Twitter.

Massive fan of Wilder... but our recruitment has been woeful. £23m on an unproven Liverpool kid, £22m on a Norwegian who doesn't suit our system,  £20m on a wannabe Swansea hoolie who rarely scores & £10m on a French bloke who can't stay out of Dominos ... what a waste 😣 #sufc

Surely 1-3 qualifies as a massacre?
