True, but we sold a player for our biggest incoming fee last summer and let a fair few big earners go too so the finances that reflect our points deduction don't accurately reflect what we have fielded this past season. In that sense Charlton chirping about our big signings and big wages being of specific benefit last season is not accurate.

If you add in the 90+ minute capitulations this half of the season then you could argue the players have thrown away more than 12 points this season. marcx666
Charlotn win their legal action, we get relegated, the EFL do the points deduction they are considering against Charlton, meaning they have points deducted in the season just gone, because their issue has been goping on for 7 motnhs, we stay up, they go down with no legal recourse, because they fought for the deduction for us to be done in the same season as the incident. Popular Post Dot
its quite ironic that the two biggest whingers, Charlton and Barnsley are clubs that went into administration. Thus contributing to the ffp rules being brought in to stop shitty clubs like these cheating and not paying their debts
Dot
it would be even more ironic if swfc push a legal case against charlton given their current ownership situation and why they haven't been charged yet.

Nut
Was it Charlton who cheated and wasted time all game only for us to score in injury time at our place? If so I'm glad this has happened to them. Disgraceful way to play. Maybe they should look closer to home for someone to blame. I love it when that happens, they've got what they deserved.

We're paying a penalty 3 or 4 seasons after our wrongdoing when the players that gave us our 'unfair advantage' are no longer with us. There are other clubs with a more valid complaint than Charlton. It's such a terrible shame that our fully deserved goal deep into injury time, in the time added on for their embarrassing antics, cost them the point which would have kept them up. 1

Charlton & Utd. - about the same level really apart from the fact one of them has won 1 trophy in the last 100 years . (Clue - it’s not Utd.) bradowl
Like Dom Howson tweeted, sour grapes from Charlton. If we had finished more than 12 points clear of relegation they wouldn't have been any clubs demanding they came off this season gone total.
