Baldrick
But what if Wigan appealed their deduction and that was over turned before next season starts? Charlton would be back in the bottom 3 with us and Hull It will like the hokey-cokey

Owls-Fan
Funny how Charlton feel so wronged. We had our actions approved by the EFL, they removed the embargo and let us sign new players. Then since November last year we’ve had the uncertainty of a points deduction and league expulsion thrust on us which could easily mess with the players and clubs mindset. But yes, it’s unfair on Charlton, never mind that they have been cr*p
TheEnchanter
Charlton have felt wronged by the EFL for years. Therefore anything the EFL do consequently Charlton think it somehow has something against them. The only thing our situation has to do with Chorlton is that they were crap enough to get relegated no matter what other teams were doing in terms of sanctions. It isn't personal to Charlton. The EFL wouldn't have an 'agenda' against Charlton if Charlton had managed to achieve just 1 more win than they did. They deserve to be playing League 1 football for 2020-21. adelphi1867
Charlton went down simply because they were not good enough to stay up over a 46 game period,. the points column shows that

He was captain of our most successful team ever, winning the First Division for two successive seasons! He then went on to manage Charlton Athletic for 23 years. So both clubs are joined at the hip.
