Maybe they came to the decision ages back but went to Wetherspoons for after work drinks, got hammered on a massive sesh and nobody could remember what they said in the morning.

It’s the EFL we are talking about. Your suggestion is as plausible as any.

Hopeless.

wonder if any journos have spoken to the club and asked for a comment.

Seems like the new trust have had more dialogue with them

I think local journalism is about as good as we are on here tbh

That happy to get the odd tidbit from the club, rather than rock the boat by asking the questions the City wants answers to...been like it for ages

Apparently the verdict was sent to the club & the EFL three weeks ago via Hermes Next Day delivery service. So no chance we'll know before Wednesday.

Excellent..If you don't like it I know a garage on penistone where you can send it back to Hermes!!!

Sheffield Wednesday are still selling tickets aren't they?

Thye EFL are allowing Sheffield Wednesday to still sell tickets aren't they?

As it stands the tickets are for Championship football aren't they?

Seems like its the fans that are being done over if a decision has been made and not announced....

Guardian saying Wednesday, Wigan and Derby cases may not be fully resolved until beginning of August so relegated clubs may get a reprieve. Membership of Championship is not finalised until after play off finals. What a complete and utter farce!

How is any team supposed to build for the future when they don't know which league they are going to be in. Particularly us when we need virtually a whole new squad.

Well going from that Tweet, the club wouldn't be able to tell them any different.

They can tell us what Barnsley and everyone else thinks... but can’t even get a statement or even a comment from the club?

Not even an expected date, or confirmation that the hearing has been concluded and the club have presented its evidence.

Nothing.
