Ian Fleming
Not the most prolific striker we've ever had, but then again we've had (got) a few like that.

Didn't think anyone would get it My main memory is that my Dad used to say he wasn’t v good and that’s why he was usually a sub. The only time I saw him start was against Arsenal in the multi replayed cup run, he played well. My Dad isn’t always the best judge of a player. He thought Varadi was crap and Sterland too slow to be a full back. He also refers to Nuhiu as The Gorilla. UTO Dad. S A Andy
3rd round FA cup replay January 79 against Arsenal at Leicesters filbert st. 2nd or 3rd of the 4 replays. Went to all 5 games, thought we had won the 1st replay at Highbury until Liam Brady ? equalised in the last minute.
Holmowl
Not much room in those shorts was there? Some top Arsenal players in that picture...Jennings, Stapleton and O’Leary. Is the 4th one Willie Young? Not really in their class.
S A Andy
We proved to be in their class for at least 4 of the 5 games. We were only a 3rd division side at the time and they were in the top flight.
sheriwozgod
John Lowey fell somewhere in the middle for that mid/late 70,s era............not as good as Wylde, McCulloch, Prendergast, Tynan etc , but a cut above the likes of Fleming, Feeley, Nimmo, Proudlove, Ferguson etc.
Ian_D
Was at that game
Ian Fleming
He must have had something about him because Howard Kendall had him at Blackburn.
Albertowl
Deon Burton type player. Techically decent, intelligent and good with his back to goal, but didn't have a striker's instinct for a goal.

I remember Wednesdays 2nd goal, somebody blew a whistle in the crowd and most of the Wimbledon players stopped but we carried on and scored. Inspector Lestrade
Seem to remember that he was very slow. Never understood why we signed him.
