Guest The Horse
A few weeks ago, I was moaning that this team gave me nothing to get excited about. That we played like Monk's Birmingham side. But something changed after that Hull game and it was a rightly aggrieved Garry Monk that seemed to have had enough. Man was not happy. Just look at those eyes... Since then, he's shaken things up and the two away wins seem to go hand in hand with a breath of fresh air and a real spirit I've not seen for ages. Look at Fox's reaction at 14.09 on the extended highlights. He's absolutely flipping loving it. Mad lad. And thanks to @torres for this link. Watch the bench. Everyone involved. No players sat still and emotionless like you see in most Prem games. No. Entire bench up celebrating together. As I said, something's changed. And I put that down to Monk. He seemed so annoyed after that Hull game that I think he's took the bull by the horns, told a few home truths and the players have responded. Fair do's to him and the team. Brilliant stuff. We've got our mojo back.

S72 Owl
It’s often said a manager finds out more about his team after a few defeats.
Mr Farrell
We've been here before. 2 good performances, then they suddenly don't turn up. This is a turning point in the season. We'll see if they really are up for it next game. There isn't a team in this division we can't beat. Normally, I'd feel the same but team spirit goes a long way and I'm seeing that. Monks' done something this last few weeks and it's put a fire up em. TheEnchanter
As much as our mini collapse was and the same goes for previous defeats. Its commendable that Monk seems to be able to provoke a reaction. 2 horrible away trips on paper and we've got 2 wins and 2 clean sheet

NorthernOwl
We blow hot and cold in a tight league. We already know this. Every time we win everyone gets excited. But I can guarantee we'll soon lose to someone crap and it will be all doom and gloom again on here.

Buddy Repperton
No way of predicting what this team is gonna do, so best to keep expectation low & hope we turn up against that awful blackburn side next week! UTO
Owly Mowly
It’s at home that we are struggling to get any sort of mojo - if we can get that vibe back in Hillsborough, and that passion that we see in the clips from Leeds, then watch us fly

UTO it helps that Dack is out for a while. And talking about key players Mitrovich at Fulham out for a while too.
Owls-Fan
Colin Murray summed up it well on Quest last night when he said welcome to the world of being a Wednesday fan. Down in the dumps and then two impressive wins. A couple of decent loan signings in the next couple of weeks and we should continue to battle for a playoff place this season

The Truefan season ticket holders just aren't delivering in terms of atmosphere.
