Other big clubs will be watching this, and if fit goes unpunished the flood gates will open. Small clubs will go bust, and many others will just sack off their youth policy which will have a massive impact on the local community.

The football authorities simply have to get involved here.

Yeah. Its never happened before. We must be the first of its kind

If I was Chansiri I'd tell Hirst Snr that he's no longer welcome at Hillsborough. The guy is bitter he never got his dream move to Man U.

We are better than that.

DC was taught a business lesson. We move on, and focus on us.

Let's not forget we have spunked 10 times the potential Hirst money on bad signings over the last 4 years.

New season, new optimism. Past mistakes can't be mended, only learned from.

Looks like he's picked up on the latest development as has posted something on Twitter. I'm not registered on Twitter so can't read any of the comments. Anyone else seen them and any indication he's planning a new article on the issue?

Exactly. Our Chairman rightly or wrongly is bending the crap rules as much as anyone.

It seems you have to, or it isn't a level playing field.

He levelled the playing field the first summer he was here.

Keep up. :Sid:

The thing is - this kind of money is peanuts for an established Premiership side like Leicester.

If you want the player, just pay the fee rather than pulling a shenanegan.  It won't make a dent in the club's transfer budget and you won't look shady as fizz.

It's like trying to scam a homeless guy out of a fiver...

It’s mostly people agreeing that it’s not right and some Leicester fans saying it doesn’t really sit well with them. One says he’d like them to pay the compensation that would have been due, which obviously isn’t going to happen but that’s the sentiment.

Every penny counts.

It's the difference between a successful club and an unsuccessful one.

Morally it stinks, but such is life.

Sorry, whats the issue here.

We got offered a million and turned it down.

Lad runs his contract down and signs for another club, Leuven with Pearson.

After a season Leicester sign him.

We had our chance to take the money or work out a deal.

We turned down a deal because we wanted him to stay and it was less than the compensation we would be due from them in any case. Having a gun to our head because they will use a bogus feeder club to take him for free and circumnavigate the regulations in place to prevent young players to be taken without some form of compensation is not something the authorities will consider and it will no doubt be challenged. Had hirst remained at Leuven for 2/3 seasons banging the goals in there is a credible story that he simply earned a move. But after a stinker of a season he’s moved and it leaves them open to a potential bridge transfer challenge in my view.

I'm not blaming Hirst for our financial plight.  Just think we have been cheated out of two million quid by Leicester who have found a back door way of signing him for nowt.  And that two million quid would have come in handy re FFP.

Ok but it wouldn’t have been such an issue though would it .

Word of advice - you don't need to be registered to look at comments on Twatter.

Word of warning - don't leave your phone unlocked on ukmilfs with the wife about. Doesn't go down well.

Putting more money into a game reliant on owners doing so. Who is it taking money from?

Comparable in terms of playing a system but not in every way.

For the sake of a couple of million and assuming we kick up a stink about it, it could come back to bite reputationally or otherwise, is it worth it for them. We will see.

Don't get me wrong, it paints Leicester as waankers.

We on the other hand are fiddling about with ground ownership, fake taxis and fake drinks companies.

Do we really want to be morally outraged and look like boobies ?
