If you want the player, just pay the fee rather than pulling a shenanegan. It won't make a dent in the club's transfer budget and you won't look shady as fizz. It’s mostly people agreeing that it’s not right and some Leicester fans saying it doesn’t really sit well with them. Had hirst remained at Leuven for 2/3 seasons banging the goals in there is a credible story that he simply earned a move. But after a stinker of a season he’s moved and it leaves them open to a potential bridge transfer challenge in my view. For the sake of a couple of million and assuming we kick up a stink about it, it could come back to bite reputationally or otherwise, is it worth it for them. We will see.
