Great team performance. 7s and 8s across the board for me, with the exceptions of Joao and Matias who were 5s at best. Been a long time since both flanks looked solid defensively and a threat going forward. What a player Lazaar looks ! Shame we lost our balance when Iorfa came on - not sure why Bruce didn't bring on a striker to replace Joao, but we won so who cares ?

Westwood 7 did what he had to do well

palmer 8 my MOM best game I’ve seen him have first half looks quicker and stronger

lazaar 8 super debut refreshing to see a fullback with pace and intent

lees 7 steady

hector8 back to normal

hutchinson 8 everywhere

bannan 7 good game

reach 8 two good goals plenty of endeavour

aarons 7 plenty of pace bits of good bits not so good

fletcher 8 very good game super goal

jaoa 6 some nice interplay but drifted out of match to much

Mattais 4 awful cameo

iorfa 7 looks a player

pellupessy n/a

super first half just what we’ve been crying out for pace, balls in the box an intent to attack. Fell away second half but overall very pleased

We buzzed around today, especially Lazaar, who probably just shades it from Palmer Not neccessaerily due o his performance, but we lost a bit of momentum when Joao went off Nobody off the pace reallytoday

Palmer? He was terrible once he went in midfield. He was playing very well at full back and it’s not his fault he was moved but no way can he be MOM. Man of the first half perhaps but apart from Matias, he was our worst player in the second half.

Yes, those three excellent crosses and ball down the line for our other RB in the second half were terrible

So you think Palmer played well in MIDFIELD??  He was excellent at full back in the first half but totally poo on the wing!

Lazaar was by and far the best . Exactly what we’ve been missing , with the exception of the last two poor managers , it was plain as day to see . Fantastic debut . Apparently he wasn’t in good shape when he arrived , you’d never have known .

Hutchinson (who I concede isn’t finished ) was 2nd with a dominating display with fletcher (until he was left isolated in the second half) 3rd
