owls66
Yes he's made mistakes and yes he's not perfect. But what a saw tonight was a passionate man who wears the club's heart on his sleeve. F*ck all the Chansiri naysayers and get behind him. WAWAW? 1
Brad_owl
It is very hard when he doesn't seem to have a plan or be a leader when we really need one. Puts up prices, spends the cash and then moans when the cupboards are bare. Not our doing! He needs to pull something out the bag and quick to get the fans back onboard. I hope he does for all our sakes.
owlinexile
I absolutely dont trust him. There hs never been any indication that he has the slightest clue what he is doing. Sorry. Edited December 19, 2018 by owlinexile

Cant fault his passion.... however he has had countless opportunities to get help, and sort things out and continued to bury his head in the sand, resulting in the situation we are in now. We we need a buyer and sharpish
markg
I agree that he has passion and appears to care but he is the leader of our club and he clearly doesn't know what he is doing.
Athelwulf
I thought he'd pull a stroke at the beginning of the meet to confound the fans, or use criticism as a justification for sacking Jos. But this is an all-time low. If he wanted to sell the club because he's in a pickle, why not just do it? This bloke's a child. Really. He hasn't even got enough moral fibre and maturity to sell off his own bat, without blaming us. What did he expect? A round of applause?

sheffield_dave
I said when this meeting was called that there would be emotional blackmail involved. And, here it is. And we’ve got the first “IN CHANSIRI WE TRUST” thread seconds later.

That tells us all we need to know about his character. He's a rotten stick.

If Chansiri wanted out, all he had to do was come clean. Admit that he wanted the best for us - which I think he did - but confess also that the job had been too much for him - which it clearly has been. Had he done that, then I do think that in time he'd be well-remembered. But this is a coward's way out. Incapable of bearing responsibility to the last. Mr Farrell
What we saw in my opinion, is somebody totally out of his depth, who has made huge mistakes and continues to make them.

All that is true. He's just not up to it. He bit off more than he could chew. That I can forgive. What I can't forgive is the craven way he's gone about this. It stinks. Is he a man or a mouse? You know, I thought he'd have some agenda, but not this. The man's a jellyfish.

Did I really hear him say he doesn't have a plan ? That for me sums up why he should not be running our club.

What I saw tonight was a man frighteningly out of his depth, lacking any idea how to address the issues he has created, a man who continues to back the most incompetent manager our club has had in recent years, a man who has presided over senior players being alienated at the club and has no clue as to why just the say so of said useless manager. Chansiri is to football what Diane Abbott is to the Labour Party and sadly it's our club who is saddled with him. Close the door on your way out and the inept excuse for a manager with you. The culture he is from is about pride and saving face. Blame and deflection is very common, doing something like say it was all too much for him, not going to happen. He's just a proud man from a proud family who's probably highly embarrassed.
