Brilliant performance from him on Sat. Probably his best for us.

Him and Reach offer us so much direct running on the ball. really put their heads down and just run with it.

Where as Believe it or not the two who everyone would think are the best at this. Joao and Forestieri actually don't carry the same direct threat as Matias and Reach do. They are a lot more laboured on it. putting their foot on it slowing the game down. trying a trick.

Very impressed with Matias and Reach and they are one of the main reasons we moved the ball so well and quickly in that game.

Forestieri creates most of the problems with his intelligent movement, playing between the lines All four should be playing

Does the example of Matias, a guy that most had written off as "a waste of a wage who'd never kick a ball for us again" not highlight the silliness of slating Abdi for being injured?

Matias has show he's hungry and wants to play. he's willing to work hard, is doing it on the pitch and has his shooting boots on.

If Abdi gets back fit, then fingers crossed he makes a whole lot of folk eat their words in the same manner.

Very true. Good to think we have a player of his calibre to come off the bench. Bet Hooper and Winnall would have loved some of the chances that Fletcher had Saturday aswell.

One of the reasons I genuinely think we are going up this season. Jos has transformed several fringe players since he arrived. Just imagine if he can improve FF, Hooper and Lee when they return, we will have a team to be truly feared in imo a poor Championship this season. These players he's introducing/bringing back into the fold are like new, expensive transfers.

And the jewel in the crown Abdi

Spring heeled and looking to get in behind where he can, and also sharpish onto follow ups.  Align that with the fact he's also started working his socks off and he's been a welcome addition back in the matchday squad.

..and some good finishing too.
