Saying that we were so much more solid down that side once the fantastic Mr Fox did us a favour and injured himself. Bouncing Owl Posted August 11, 2018 Share Posted August 11, 2018 I consider Thorniley a centre half. However, I would consider going to a back 4 and playing him left back for the season. I rate this lad and he won’t let us down. Don’t want to ruin him at left wing back whilst he did very well today. He will end up at centre half but sensible to start his career at left back. I’m starting to share the sentiment that he’s a future captain, because today demonstrated his crucial ability to simply come on the pitch and do a job for his team, wherever required.
