Away kit 2018/19

Recommended Posts

Don’t mind the all black kit. I don’t think the design is that nice in terms of its collar, pattern etc. You have to wonder if the designers have a bit of a laugh rather than try their best.

But it’s a welcome improvement on last seasons away kit which has easily been one of our ugliest.

Oh good looks like we must be keeping Westwood, Bannan and Fessi next season judging on photo and comments after home kit was revealed.

Willow Owl beat me to it.

Sorry mate, but they say great minds think alike

Couldn’t give an arse about kits tbf, but my very simple theory is that you should have a bright one. Most of our football is played under lights, winter etc, and as a fan I find it far easier to pick our players, as other players would do, with a bright kit. And white socks. For some reason, visually, teams with bright kits appear to have players on the pitch, penalty area etc.

Best kit I’ve seen, with the above example in mind, was United’s in their promotion season under Bassett.

Problem being if you don’t have the above example in mind it was right up there with the worst kits ever created by man.

Depends how you define ‘worst’. Would imagine it’s one of the best selling kits of either club in this city, ever.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Seems like their type of clobber.

Even if you're not a big fan, both kits are miles better than their counterparts from last year. Not even a contest.

"year on year progression" and all that!

I agree on the away kit: it's much nicer than last season's.

I'd say the new home kit is about on par with last season's retro number, though. They're both really nice kits. If I had to choose, I'd say I prefer last season's shirt, but the return of black shorts probably tips things in favour of the new kit for me.
