SKY pundits predicted league table.........

Recommended Posts

Seriously, I can see us running away with the title this time around and I’ll tell you exactly why.

We have the desire back, the players want to make it happen. They have belief in the new manager.

More than anything else, confidence and desire are what you need to win a title. We have some of the quality players we need. With the right additions this summer, the World is our lobster. Throw some more meat on the barbie, and use the shrimp for starters.

Would be interesting to see last seasons predictions and how well they did with those. I suspect half of their "experts" watch no Championship football at all.

This is what they predicted on 11th October 2017

I don't know who at sky drummed up this table , I cant see how stoke will finish 8th with 50 million to spend , derby will have to cut costs so mid table for them , like leeds in 18th but cant they be 22nd id love that . only way we have any chance of getting near 4th is if all our players stay fit and we make 2-3 excellent loan signings in the window a big if.

Didn’t Sunderland have in excess of 50 million in parachute payments ? Didn’t help them much

I’m pretty confident as things stand. I’d only really fancy Stoke, WestBrom and Boro to fare better than us at the minute.

Imo I think Derby and Villa will struggle to better this season, Preston, Pigs and Millwall won’t punch above their weight again. Swansea won’t trouble the playoffs

All in all nothing to fear

Have I missed summat wi Wigan? Why are they predicted to finish that high?

To be fair they beat Man City and are a well coached club with a decent manager. So they may be a dark horse to at least have a strong start to the season like the pigs did
