Looked off the pace today and wasted the ball and a good opening when he hit a woeful shot with good options on. Reminds me too much of the Melo, bus, vermijl signings a signing just for the sake of saying we've signed someone. It's hard to imagine we'd be any worse off if Clare had been given a go instead of signing him. If we had to take a chance on a cheap signing it should have been a left back. On on the other hand, he should not have taken Jones’ place recently and Semedo would probably be doing an equal job to Pelupessy right now. One hospital ball to Fox, one neshed challenge that lead to their goal and another that ended in a cross, shot & Wildsmith save. Was better in the 2nd half, but needs to put himself about more, up his tempo, get a bit dirtier. He looked bullied at times.
