Carlos The Second

Recommended Posts

This kind of thread presents a dilemma

a) If it is a fishing expedition then by joining in you risk being wooshed and it kind of encourages gratuitous maligning of club personnel.

b) The OPoster may well be in need of psychiatric help and any invective directed at such a wild opinion might exacerbate their condition such that they end up like Brian the Blade, Bleating delusional nostrums on the radio and in their local chippy, earning the pity of all who listen near and far.

C) Ignore the post and check out "Sheffield Wednesday Boardroom" for the latest on Hurricane Katrina.

I'm going for (c)!

Yeah.

I suppose it's always wise to be the first one to claim that the manager isn't good enough.

In three years time, he can turn around and tell everyone "I told you so".

Carlos was the worst Wednesday manager I've ever seen and I've been watching Wednesday since 1981

Bad doesn't even cover it

He was an absolute joke

Seems to be a more experienced and better manager and it's early doors. He'll clearly sort out discipline & fitness problems out.

However on the pitch; seems to be an identical manager to Carlos.

:very organised

:very defensive

:very narrow

:no attack plan

An improvement on Carlos; the Owlstalk Resident Cheerleaders won't like this; but can't see any real difference on the pitch.

Give us alll an honest answer.

Were you at Hillsborough last night?

A more bizarre post I have yet to see.

Has your account been hacked by someone from porkville?

Said in the OP; that's it was a premature judgement.

I hope we do purchase & play width and pace. Can't see it happening; but we'll see.

Plenty of insults; but not much response to Jos playing with FIVE  at the back. Fox & hunt playing deep.

In our Op you fired an insult calling people cheerleaders

Whch got people biting back which is what you wanted.

If you have to start threads in that matter then maybe Owlstalk isn’t for you

Some good bait from the op, he's caught a few.

it's not 'good bait' it's actually quite poor fare, it's akin to posting 'i've just shat my trousers, what do i do now?' and waiting for the answers to flood in (more effective if piccy's are attached).

he wasn't, and we can see the reason few thought him worthy of more than 12 months, were we/are we his longest employer in his entire career at less than 3 year?

A world away from Carlos.

He doesn't spout total dogshite for starters.

Pretty sure Jos will never compare us to a Sardine or wave 20 quid at us.

Yorath, Eustace, Irvine...and you call Carlos a clown FFS lol

you should think a lil' more before you post, i've just had the thought of carlos' lot dragging itself to the halfway line in under 5 minutes (if at all possible, but don't be afraid to pass it all the way back if slightly threatened in any away) against irvine's lot who won't come over the halfway line as 0-0 will be fine, it's a case of the book writer v. the badge holder, when in fact football is played upon grass.

Where does the OP say he's not good enough?

The OP effectively says I believe we swapped one narrow ultra defensive coach for a better one.

Again Sij, I haven't said he's not good enough; you've made that up.
