Best of luck for the future Carlos. You provided us with some great memories, especially in the first season, playing some of the best football I have seen us play. Please please please get this next appointment right DC, not an unknown foreign manager, we need someone who knows the league and knows how to play exciting attacking football.

This exactly. Good luck Carlos and thanks shame you couldn't quite get us there.

...well the expectations that every season will be an improvement seem to have won the day. Football is never like that. Good luck Carlos. You made mistakes but let’s hope your replacement can be better or the same gobs will begin again ...

One of the best managers we've had, ran out of steam this year. Thanks for everything CC good luck for the future

Dissgree, did better because he had a lot of money compared to most of the previous managers. This last 18 months he has been found out and clearly couldn’t adapt the teams style of play or admit there was a problem. Not good management.

It's a shame this thread was started in such a manner as it was with the shlt stirring.

No need for that.

Let's just get our dignity back and get behind bully and then the new manager.

Lots of players will be back from injury and lots of fans will be refreshed by this.

Time to move on.

Great respect to Carlos who is genuiely a nice guy and he has always given his best. The problem is unfortunately the job and demands were just too big for him and he never fully understood what the majority of fans want to see which is up an and at em style of play. Fans would not have been as critical if we had shown a lot more attacking flair on the pitch and just gone for it every game even if that meant leaving ourselves open and losing games. Its the way we have been drawing snd losing thats been the main issue.

DC, go out and get an adventerous style of manager who will get the team back in shape and will be allowed to bring in his own players. This I guarantee you the fans will back.

First season - An excellent manager.

2nd season - A manager who just about responded to the knock-back of losing the final.

This season - A manager who had lost his way.

At his best he was one of the best manager's we've had in the last 20 years. A very likeable guy who maybe survived a little longer than he should have due to that.

The statement's today are amicable and respectable, as fans we should be the same. There's no need for bad blood or insults.

It’s a shame it’s happened this way, on a real low ebb. But there have been doubts for a while and it’s all gone very flat. Even now it’s a sad moment.

I think he is a good manager, particularly for an underdog club and I can see him doing well again but the project here had run out of steam and it is necessary.

Thanks and all the best Carlos
