Alternatively give Van Aken/Venancio a run to become part of the team, it can't get worse than it already is. We need a Sam Hutchinson cover in midfield. Alternatively give Matias/Abdi and run; surely the two of them combined must be just about fit for fight To get these we may have to let a player or two go. If we did get new midfielder, I'd recall Winnall over Butterfield, to let perhaps Fletcher and João go.. Winnall and Nuhiu are different types of strikers that give other options where Hooper/Rhodes fail to make an impact. Honestly, it's not because I don't like Fletcher, but it would also help do a little spring cleaning and get some fresh legs in spots where we need strengthening the squad. If we are sticking with him wouldn't give him anything more than loans or he'll have to sell a couple. If we get rid of him however, I would back the new man with a least 2 permanent signings. Grassy knoll Posted November 23, 2017 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Nothings going to change,,we won’t bring anymore players in January and unfortunately DC will bottle it stick with CC for the season, i think we will finish somewhere outside the playoffs and by march/april time we will know for sure we are not going up and drift along until the end of the season and then part company with CC. DC will come out of it looking like a nice guy and paitent chairman and he won’t have wasted any more money this season which will help us with ffp for next season when we will have a new manager. Bring in a top defensive midfielder and 2 attacking fast wide men to compete with forestieri for the wide attacker roles. New system, pace and fluidity is what we need. He hasn't brought in cover for areas we needed improvement on since Wembley. The criminal waste of a player like Rhodes while our midfield still lacks a Diame type players and proper wingers.
