i think we will finish somewhere outside the playoffs and by march/april time we will know for sure we are not going up and drift along until the end of the season and then part company with CC. 

DC will come out of it looking like a nice guy and paitent chairman and he won’t have wasted any more money this season which will help us with ffp for next season when we will have a new manager. 

I think you're right. For honourable reasons DC is likely to stick with CC but I don't expect any signings of note in January. Summer recruitment was negligible and in no way improved the team. The money seems to have dried up but I certainly wouldn't give CC any more cash. Derby are showing that you can sell some key players and overhaul a failing squad. You just need a good manager with the autonomy to bring in his own signings. We appear to have neither

I reckon Jiri Skalak at Brighton would be a good addition.  Certainly an upgrade and competition for Wallace.

We know what we need, pace, power and strength That’s what the squad lacks, and that’s what every successful club has to have these days Those attributes are though, not seen as a pressing need, so don’t hold your breath
