Newcastle are a very different case to almost everyone who has been and will be relegated. The assets they came down with were far and away too good to be relagated and as a result had massive transfer fees recouped. I havent kept kept tabs on it, but I'm fairly certain that they are in net profit this season on transfer dealings. For them to go out and spend isn't really abusing the parachute payments, but more so the fact that the established premiership teams are asset rich and as long as previously bought well they can offload those assets. Swansea are willing to allow the winger to leave but a loan move is most likely at this stage. Barrow last played for Swansea on New Year’s Eve in a 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth and has made 19 appearances for the club this season.
