prowl
Did we need Price? Wildsmith seems to be a worth back up.
Tudders
Did we need Price? Wildsmith seems to be a worth back up. At the time of signing Price,Wildsmith was completely untested in first team football. If he hadn't been able to handle the pressure then we'd have been up the Creek.Plus when Wildsmith has played,we'd have had no proven back up without Price. scram
He still needs to go out on loan His progress will not continue by sitting in the bench most weeks
Mike Hunt
Good stuff Hopefully he can continue into the 21's too and add heaps to his value like Butland What does it matter what his value is ?
SiJ
What does it matter what his value is ?Probably because he might make the club some good money should we ever sell him for some reason. Plus value going up is usually an indicator of how good a player is.
scram
What does it matter what his value is ? Probably because its better to have players of high value than little/no value?

Mike Hunt
Probably because he might make the club some good money should we ever sell him for some reason. Plus value going up is usually an indicator of how good a player is. The days of supporters / fans being concerned about what players values are of no relevance anymore, it will not impact on how much seat tickets are etc , we have owner / owners who have set there stall out to get to the premiership, if we sold Joe for 5m tomorrow we would not know if that would add to our playing budget or not . similar if we bought Mattias for 2m and sold him for tuppence, its the guys at the top who are going to fund it and also reap the benefits when / if we get to the Prem . We are consumers now all be it with an emotional attachment but still consumers . Probably because its better to have players of high value than little/no value? See above . Bluesteel
I thought he might be better than U20s now if he's been playing first team football. U21s has to be a realistic target for him?
