Musn't Grumble
I think the "Eric" referred to here is Eric Cantona. Now he really didn't get a fair crack of the whip whilst at Hillsborough.
whatevertrevor
Can't even read Paul Heffernan's name without my inner 15 year old self raging that he didn't play enough My 19 year old self is laughing at my past foolishness though. Wise old man.

SallyCinnamon
Michael Morrison, should have kept him for the Promotion season. Gary Madine, will leave us and do well at Championship level. Ryan Lowe, deserved a crack at the Championship. Corry/McCabe, should have been given some game time last season or this season considering how poor we've been in the midfield area. wednesdaywizard
Darko Kovacevic, definitely. David Pleat said he 'didn't have a brain for football'. OK David, stick to curb sides.
james o connor
kovacevic, typical Wednesday had a fantastic forward but bombed him out after a few months. degryse has a fair crack. played a whole season , realised he could do better and off he went

IstillhateSteveBould
Were people genuinely disappointed when Kovacavic went? I can't remember. Or is it just because he went on to better things?

Ever the pessimist
Were people genuinely disappointed when Kovacavic went? I can't remember. Or is it just because he went on to better things? I was. he had scored a few (at least 2 against Bolton I recall) and looked promising from what I remember. I also think Jim Magilton was not given a fair go. he was never going to live up to Sheridan, but seemed OK when he played. tellingly he then had a decent premier league career with Ipswich. Dutch McLovin
Pecnic and Rodri recently. Trustfall Darko Dejan too in the past. This trend will continue too I imagine.
mrrodge
You would have to look at what they did with their careers after being with Wednesday. To be fair there aren't that many I can think of that have gone on to better things after being with us. Only Kovacevic, Holt and Vardy spring to mind with Holt and Vardy having to go down before working their way back up. Oh and Cantona of course
