Juror8
Explosive and productive player. Home grown player. Great attitude. Young. Physically reliable. But in last year of contract and not going to be included in EPL squad. My answer is:- 750k guaranteed paid 250k now then two more payments to be made on anniversary of the deal. 500k if promoted to EPL. 250k if wins England cap. 100k per 50 appearances limited to 100 appearances 10% sell on. This therefore is a "1.7m deal plus sell-on clause". Regards Lee When have you ever been involved in a transfer? Leave this down to the pro's. £750k single payment. Nowt else. Belfast Owl 2
ok for a million within reason which winger would you buy not sure to be honest but not someone who isn't provern at the second level of English football and is so inexperienced. You do realize a million is a lot of money for us? would you pay a million for him?
SiJ
Easy spending someone else's money etc.
bigash_swfc
Blackburn spent their budget on Best and he's crocked for half the season. More proof that spending money does not guarantee success. Organisation, form and team spirit got Reading promoted, splashing the cash got Leicester nowhere. True mate, but Blackburn have recently parted with Junior Hoillet? So they'll be after a pacey winger

Saxondale
I think he's easily worth an undisclosed amount.
Mr. Chow
should made him main priority !, Give them what they want :)
basegreenowl
Add on if promoted, or sell-on must clinch it. Promoted to Premier League, or a big sell on would be worth a little more down the line?? Would not go above £800,000 initially though.
i used to be sc_owl
£349,999.99 and not a penny more.
Guest timrud
I think no more than 750k up top, add ons are fair enough. Or tree fiddy
waddle23
He's worth £1mil all day long with a longer contract but as It is id say nearer 750k . The thing is though we know he likes it here and there's no hit or miss with him in terms of attitude, fitting in with the squad etc so personally would pay the 1mil or 750k with an extra 250k on promotion. PolarNigel
Because we are chasing him, i'd say somewhere in the region of 500k-800k. If i was Reading, i'd be asking for around 800k-£1m

airborne_rat_of_s6
Given that we have spent next to nothing on other players this summer and the fact he is a very good prospect, I reckon we should go up to £1M. Either way we need closure on this quickly.

davey_wells
I've always thought that the value of Antonio to Reading isn't really that important - its the value of him to us, the buying club, that matters. The fact he will be in the last year of his contract or whether he is proven at Championship level is irrelevant - we know exactly how good he is, how much we need a quick winger and how much 'value' he would be to us if he helped us make it back to the riches of the Premiership. So, for me, he is worth 1 mil. Same as what Marshall went for.
Spookone
about £750k ----- would be a BIG loss if we DON'T sign him Agree - people keep saying he is unproven at Championship level - surely they have seen enough to show it isnt really a gamble. I fear if we dont sign him the and when he does prove a very good player at Championship level, the same people may be saying "we should have signed him". I cant see us getting anyone with the same potential for less than £800k
