Would love for Tudgay to get himself a goal on saturday though because he is working hard and playing well lately, and a goal could really kick start his season. If he offers what he offered at the Beginning of this spell, the previous spell and the Newcastle game performance then im delighted with this signing. He's the second best striker at the club. sMacLean Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Could be no-one goes but Irvine knows with Johnson out he is relying on a hot and cold Clarke and consistently injured Sodje and Jeffers. Varney might be more of a squad player this time when JJ comes back or if Jeffers stays fit , still need someone decent to come on from the bench. Atleast we will have a bit of pace in the side again now , would imagine whoever Peterborough play as CB's will be more comfortable challenging Tudgay and Clarke in the air than watching for Varney runs.
