Leeds are a broken club.

so much of their recent upturn in fortunes was down to bielsa, on and off the pitch.  Now they are a northern watford.  They are going down and deservedly so:

I so hope you are right about them going down , I can just see them getting sporny and finishing 4th bottom purely due to the fact Southampton, Everton and probably one of Leicester and Forest don't seem to want to take advantage of everyone else slipping up.

Thing with Leeds is, even if they do somehow stop up, I would put reasonable money on them being in a similar situation next season.

Bar the COVID season, they have been crap in the Premier League, circling the drain. The Biesla days seem very distant, as shown by this recent PR debacle.

Haven't they got the 49ers owner taking them over at the end of the season though on provisions that they stay up ?

I think so, but American owners aren't usually the type to just throw money at it for sh*ts and giggles.

They are there to make money and have these clubs as part of their portfolio.

Interesting that they will only complete a full takeover if the club stops up. Great commitment to the cause that.

Will say though that the more American owners we get into the top flight, the more chance of discussions about no relegations, Premier League two and so forth.

I've never understood the attitude footballers have. How long does it take to acknowledge a fan especially a kid? High five, give him a hug it literally takes a couple of seconds

I just don't get why managers or clubs don't put a stop to players wearing headphones on matchday. I know they'll turn around and say it helps them to focus and relax before the match but surely they should be made to take them off once they leave the coach. Show some gratitude and appreciation to the people paying your wages. Don't just walk past as if they don't exist  you absolute f****** c*nts

I think the Arsenal one was taken slightly out of context  - the little girl had met the players a little earlier  and they were just going out on to the pitch.

Here, there's just no excuse..it's just pure arrogance. If I was that kids family I would tell the Leeds PR to stick their apology, and that the kid now wants to support Huddersfield.
