Piggy Wilder Sacked

BIG D

Who knows, perhaps people will stop describing him as the second coming of Pep Guardiola now.

A decent lower league manager who seems to have been found out. Once his fancy 3-5-2 formation gets worked out, he doesn't appear to have much left in the tank.

That and he seems incapable of motivating better quality players.

Whatever you think about him the job he did at United was incredible.

Agreed. He was brilliant for United at this level and the championship. First season in the Premier was pretty good too. It seems like as soon as he had cash to spend he buckled.

Just employed Taylor from Exeter at Chuckledome.

Didn’t realise Wilder played more games for Rotherham than anyone else in his career… feel like he’d have been a perfect fit.

Shame lol

Seems to be on the same career trajectory as Paul Lambert - good record in lower leagues, job with bigger club taking them from L1 to premier league, slightly harshly sacked, then succession of under achievements

Whether it will continue or he can stop the rot remains to be seen. His stock is probably still high enough to get another decent job

I wouldn't say he was harshly sacked, spent nigh on £100m to gain the accolade of the worst start to a season in 132 years of football history.
