Owls v Tractor Boys OMDT (Apologies to Lord Snooty)

Recommended Posts

Well done Wednesday. Having a proper defence makes a difference doesn't it?

Looks like lessons from previous games are starting to sink in and we're learning from them.

Dean spent all game organising everyone around him. Bowyer knows nothing about football.

The frustrating thing is everyone above us won.

Yeah but that makes our win just as important, on the plus side it pulls others into the playoff fight. wycombe and MK Dons, although 9 points ahead we have two games in hand over them..  We need to go on a bit a run though..  That Oxford result though was a real opportunity wasted...  Still we move on, we have a couple of winable matches but must not let them be banana skins.

3 points but desperate deep defending again. If they had Morsy and a decent striker we would have been toast.

New manager and good loan signings can see Ipswich in the play-offs.

We just look so so stretched in midfield ...Luongo looked a little off today. Space between strikers and midfield too big....again...backing off too much...again.

But three points and that's what mattered.

Not worth it mate. It's bad enough when the alarm goes off at 3.50am if I wake Mrs Morepork up again at 6 on a Sunday morning I'll be paying the price all day.......

Ipswich reminded me a bit of us earlier in the season, they play some nice football but very little threat in the final third

That’s proberly what will stop Ipswich from being in one of the Play Off spots.Lack of clear cut chances has cost them dearly today.

And if we'd have had our main striker then they'd have been toast. Can't argue with that especially with 2 out of the 3 cb's only just signed and both making their debuts.

Just had a little bet on this one.

Wednesday to win, both teams to score and Jack Hunt anytime scorer - 86/1

I was very fond of that £1 too. 😟

SOOO Close.

Farewell dear £1, hope to catch up with you again in Paddy Powerland.
