The rent for Hillsborough will effectively be a lease purchase to enable the club to own the ground again. Real sponsors have been acquired to replace Chansiri, elev8 and D taxis etc. Season ticket prices and matchday prices will be the average of L1. 3 year plan to greatly improve the ground and training sites. DOF appointed. New and respected advisers brought in along side new recruitment team. Unrealistic I admit but what would be acceptable and change the mood?.....anything? What! prowl Posted June 2, 2021 Share Posted June 2, 2021 Hypothetical question, it won't happen. I'd give the guy another chance if he did all that but we know he won't/can't. That ship has sailed. Personally I can't see a way forward unless he can find a buyer and there isn't anyone out there daft enough to pay what he thinks we are worth. He will be extremely lucky to get £30m including the ground. In a fire sale he might get £5M. It might end up as a receivership job which means L2 football next year if we survive. No f.ooker Palace twice...still call 'em Palace and no-one gives a flyer.... Thers a fanbase of at least 20'000..that goes up exponentially with a decent team.....39'000 against Wycombe? The fans are there....albeit as long as we take this tawdry road to tat, with stupid decisions, stupid prices and a bloody clueless chairman...The fanbase will erode... Its like when you owe your mate money and your overdraft is maxed out.
