usual inflammatory stuff from the local paper.

the "legal action" statement from the club? where does it say they are considering "legal action", there is no mention of "legal action" what so ever.

Dom Howson reported on the club statement with the twist that the club are contemplating legal action..the statement is there for all to see, no mention of legal action.

It says "investigating this matter" , maybe they are investigating why this has happened? and what changes need to be made?

and regarding Urhoghide, that is poo stirring of the highest level, statements such as "and while there was talk then of a longer-term deal things seemed to go quiet following an injury"

Why not mention that he spent  nearly a year out injured (not just a simple injury) but SWFC showed faith in him still gave him a contract extension.

Expect nothing more though from the sheffield star

If he turns into a 50 million quid player then ye I'd be guttered but as things stand I'm not fussed at all

Good luck to the lad

Short career, squeeze every penny you can get

But let's not pretend we are losing a superstar here

His contribution is a goal, a assist and costing us two games with stupid tackles

Who can blame him wanting to leave the deadbeat club that Chansiri has created?

We've seen This week Chansiri practicing the fine art of misdirection with his plans to sue Celtic.

He's doing this at a time when he should be concentrating all his efforts on trying to save us from the drop. But he prefers to play these public games to try and distract from his dreadful and incompetent administration of the club.

One must ask, how much he really wants to save us from the drop?

We've had a succession of puppet managers (Bruce excepted) who do exactly as Chansiri demands.

Well done Liam Shaw at getting away from Chansiri.

There's absolutely no reason for any player of talent to be a Wednesday.

The one thing that Wednesday are very good at is ruining a players potential.

Liam Shaw has got out before he joins Chansiri long list of ruined careers.

Well done that main.

100%

And is now third choice

And Liam Shaw will have seen that happen

As well as the team mates that were frozen out of the club too

I think third choice is correct based on what we have.

Westwood ( when fit although we shouldnt offer a new deal )

Wildsmith ( stuck to his line and poor generally)

Dawson ( shocking keeper who instills zero confidence at all times)

For all Chansiri has done wrong I think Dawson is rightfully third choice from a pure footballing point of view.

Set aside club loyalties, if you think he's a wednesday fan or not, what league hes playing in, which club he's signing for or if you think its a move in the right direction or not for his career

Ask yourself one question

At 19 you are offered

A)  a minimum of £1 million pounds in wages plus incentive bonuses, appearance money, yearly increases over 4 years

or

B) a minimum of £150,000 in wages plus incentive bonuses, appearance money, yearly increases over 3 years

What would you do ?

And while you are thinking about that really tough decision have a think about Ian Cranson and Ryan Jones to name 2, both far more established and better thought of than Shaw at the same stage, both im sure at the time backing themselves to do bigger and better things and both ended up with career ending injuries and having to work a normal job to support their family

Liam has at the worst took a big step towards securing his families future, something that everyone of us would do no matter who we support

Football is now all about securing your family’s future. Agents insist and players have their heads turned. Shaw could have insisted on a one year loan back eeven if they would have wanted to pay him £10k a year less. He is entitled to do what he is doing but he and the fans who bless him need to think about the club.

If we can only sign poor players and we let our good youths leave at 19, this club is finished.

Either way, I'd struggle to make the case that playing in League One would be a better option than playing for Celtic.

Why are they not going to have European football, though?

Well, proper European football
