Absolutely. Thought Penney was superb too today, and would be gutted to see him go, when we’ve struggled all season to fill that position.

I like Penney, but thought he way way out of position a few times.  Good to have a footballer in the team.  WTF was going on with Reach... Ball was just bouncing off him all game.

It's weird, he seems to have come back a more mature, street-wise, and tougher player despite not having much of an opportunity to develop since last season on account of his injury and dropping down the pecking order.  I'm delighted for him.

He's filled out a bit as well hasn't he.

Would rather invest in players like Urhoghide, Shaw, Penney, Brennan, Hunt, FDB etc next season than bring in some of the rubbish we have been over the past few years. We could offer them all reasonable contracts for less than we pay some of our other more established stars combined. A few might end up with a decent resale value as well.

That was once a carefully crafted question from our esteemed leader.

Unfortunately, the masses chose to carry on piling cash into established quality players and maintain the high ticket prices - oh wait

He played very against Everton; particularly in the first half. He's quick; strong and holds a line well.

It's painful that we eventually see some future promise with these young players and we seem unable to get their contracts sorted. I hope DC isn't just waiting to see what league we are in to cut the deals - they'll be gone or at least had discussions with other clubs.

Brennan is another who we should bring through.

Would’ve been exciting to see a first team in League One next season containing the pace, power, energy and potential of Uroghide, Shaw, FSB, Penney and Moses. Think they’d be great at that level and give us something to be proud of again (on the pitch at least).
Regrettably it’s too late for Shaw but can we salvage the rest? Here’s hoping.
