S72 Owl
Thought he was very good today. Has all the attributes, just needs games time now in a settled side. That back 3 was very good today, won everything

Yellowbelly
Would rather invest in players like Urhoghide, Shaw, Penney, Brennan, Hunt, FDB etc next season than bring in some of the rubbish we have been over the past few years. We could offer them all reasonable contracts for less than we pay some of our other more established stars combined. A few might end up with a decent resale value as well.
G-Reg
Good game. Bossed a good opposition player. Manages to use his strength without giving fouls away. Bravo. Edited January 30, 2021 by G-Reg
StudentOwl
Any other club would have him tied up til the summer of 2023 by now. Good player, good attitude, would be lovely to see him develop. It's terrifying to think that he might well be off at the end of the season... even more terrifying that I'd be disappointed but totally understand and respect why. Really, really hope he doesn't go, one of few bright lights to look forward to over the next year or so. Plus it would be great to have him as part of a spine that's actually enjoyable to watch

Yeah, according to Joe Crann, we’ve 15 out of contract this summer, 9 of which started today. Only Palmer and Paterson are contracted beyond the end of this season of the starters. Thought Penney was superb too today, and would be gutted to see him go, when we’ve struggled all season to fill that position.
Lord Snooty
Played well. He'll do a good job for somebody. I'm sure we can get a biscuit knee'd, injury ravaged, 35 year old replacement in on 3 times the money though. Don't panic. 1 1

Like this about him as well. esp that tackle on Richarlison at Everton the other night. Good mobility & aerial presence as well. As with other posters, let's not showcase his abilities then allow others to reap the reward. Pay the youngsters in full, on time & review contracts at the right time - basic stuff when you can't afford to spaff out on one last payday for fading talent. swfc1983
Thought he was excellent today, bullied their players time and time again. That’s his best position, think he can be a bit exposed at full back but in centre or part as a three he looks the business.
Pieman
Two things stood out. He was very proactive sticking the toe in and nicked the ball 4 or 5 times. Also, even though he played on the left, he had good composure on the ball and found his man most times.

Brian
It's weird, he seems to have come back a more mature, street-wise, and tougher player despite not having much of an opportunity to develop since last season on account of his injury and dropping down the pecking order. I'm delighted for him.
