Errol Flashman
Good debut I thought. Bot nervy at the off, but bound to be really. Thought he grew and showed a bit of promise. Dead pleased for the kid. Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.
Lime Tree Heros
Great debut, really impressed after a shaky start. Not sure we've enough depth in our U23's to start loaning some out this window, but hope he gets some 1st team minutes towards the end of the season once we're safe. Has the attributes. I think we may need him. We only had 15 players today as it was.

CircleSeven
It must be great to have a debut, be on the winning side, have a good game and then have a nice long coach journey home to sit back and chill and reflect on the fantastic day you’ve just had. Love it!!

torryowl
why is it that whenever anyone comes in and does well that someone thinks its a good idea to send him out on loan ?.....

steelerian
Didnt see the game today, so cant comment on his performace, but its just so great to see these young lads getting a chance to have their debuts. If we dont give them a chance, then we'll never know if they can hack it. Long may it continue.

Indeed and with us struggling this season with fitness he could be a key addition no harm in skipping a few leagues and having him play at this level he will learn quick an gives us an option for that position to build on for next season. BFNB
results at the weekend shows theres a big step up from Academy to first team, the youngsters did great on Saturday and need more first team football. Unless you give them a go you dont know if they can make the step up. Id start with Galvin at left back and Shaw back in midfield at Coventry (dependant on who is fit) Need to ensure that Shaw does not end up in the utility player role

Surely if they look like coping in our first team, it makes sense to keep them in the fold and develop them to how we want them to play?
cookeh
Are we going to do the standard wednesday thing of jumping on his back when he invitably makes an mistake? End up crushing his confidence and maybe hounding him out of the club? It's the Wednesday way.
