@owlstalk
Kachunga spent his early career in Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach, VfL Osnabrück, Hertha BSC and SC Paderborn 07. Following Paderborn's relegation, he moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 in June 2015. He was the club's record signing, at a transfer fee of €1.7 million. He signed a season-long loan deal with an option to buy at the end with English Championship club Huddersfield Town in June 2016. He made his debut for them on 6 August 2016, scoring the first goal in a 2–1 win over Brentford. On 22 March 2017, Huddersfield paid Ingolstadt £1.1 million to turn Kachunga's loan deal into a permanent transfer. In December 2017 he was ruled-out for 3 months due to injury. He was released by Huddersfield at the end of the 2019–20 season. On 2 September 2020, he was signed by Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer. Popular Post DesWalker
His signing will have to be put in context once transfer window shut. If he's our number 9 starting every game then its a poor signing. If he's an option as second striker/wide forward on a free with sensible wages then its a great bit of business.

Players of a better standard, who haven't been available all summer, and then signed because we are desperate.
SwellOwl
Happy with this move, proven at this level and is better than re-signing Da Cruz.

Exactly right, Kachunga and Windass are good second strikers but still need a man up top who will score most of the goals for us. Higher wages maybe? I am pleased with the signing. I wish him all the success.

poite
Good news. He should be in good spirits given Huddersfield haven't lost a game for over 10 years 1
0114
Not sure he’s quite a striker. 30 appearances last season were from RW compared to 3 as a striker. Happy with the signing though, he was outstanding for Huddersfield in 16/17 when playing RW and scored 12 goals.

Which players would you have signed in what was effectively a month's pre season? We could have signed him a month ago, that tells you all you need to know. 1 1
