As Nixon has said today Chansiri gave his backing to Monk a few weeks ago and they have planned this squad clear out. So it looks like we are stuck with both for a while yet. McCarthy left Ipswich at the end of the 17/18 season. They finished in 12th in the Championship. Ipswich have done right well since then haven’t they? The last big name manager we had said jt would take 4 transfer windows to sort us out and jumped ship at the first opportunity. He needs a summer transfer window and pre-season at the least, with his own backroom staff so he can shape the squad in his view. Results have been bad but we can't pin that all on one man.
