Today at 3pm on Radio Sheffield. This is the guy that posted the in depth legal analysis of our defence the other day.

Wonder if that really means we’ve launched a disciplinary appeal before a League Arbitration Panel against a 12 point penalty awarded by the IDC? Or is it it just loose talk meaning SWFC’s defence in the IDC of a potential but as yet undecided/unreported 12 point deduction?

I think it says Wigan’s (#WAFC) appeal against 12 point penalty.

I see Barnsley are having a pop at everyone. Although I’m not sure anyone amongst their peer group would be particularly worried.

After all it’s the collective clubs that make decisions and maybe if some of the smaller teams stopped blocking rule changes then some of the antics to get around flawed rules wouldn’t happen so much

Tom Horton spoke very well but didn’t really add anything more than was in his excellent article in Football Law. Was hoping he might have had some insight into what happened to the original arbitration case we brought against the EFL and the dropping of the personal misconduct charges

Definitely, but if you read the article it doesn’t add much. One thing he said was that the parties to the case can decide not to have the decision published, which could mean we will be left in the dark about how any sanction was arrived at

Bloody hell it's not as if it's a danger to national security. Seems very bizarre.

If there is a points deduction don't see how they can avoid that.

Yes of course the outcome has to be announced but apparently they don’t have to publish the IDC decision. In the Brum case the published decision was quite lengthy, like a reasoned legal judgement

Lot of posts of FB saying that it's been on RS saying no case to answer. Posts on here seem to say no decision.

That’s not what was said. He said it would all come down to the actual evidence SWFC had that the EFL had sanctioned the ground sale transaction AND its inclusion in the the 2017 accounts. If it was both then we have a strong case. If it’s the former without the latter then less so
