THE EFL HEARING THREAD

It is beyond a joke this.

Although the case wasn't actually announced until November, everyone within the game knew we were in financial trouble and it probably affected the type of manager we could attract when Brice left. It certainly would have affected our approach in the January transfer window and will be affecting our plans for next season.

We have already been punished, regardless of whether we are actually found guilty and what may follow. Never mind other clubs complaining about how the situation has affected them.

this has got my back up aswell mate

But it can be argued that they have been taken for mugs by the conmen and the EFL approved it.

I sympathise with them, it isnt like normal administration as clearly they had an agenda more sinister.

Are those involved in putting Wigan into admin still at the club though? If so they can't really appeal against something they caused can they?

Who knows with the way this farce is run but it would certainly involve the EFL admitting that they made a huge error in sanctioning the new ownership structure.

Not aimed at you but why are people obsessed with page counts?

Like does it matter ?

Its an ongoing discussion.

Well...

You know that thing?

That thing where different people have different interests?

That thing where some people find something interesting that others don't?

I think it might be THAT thing

could be very interesting next year if Wednesday, Derby, Reading, Villa and Bournemouth all start the season on minus points

It'll get to the point where the champions are the ones with the fewest minus points at the end of the season.

It would certainly be something.

Not sure "interesting" is the word I'd be using.
