We are a shambles at the moment but I do think we will get some results once fletcher is up to speed and Luongo and reach are available. Dawson needs dropping as he needs taking out of the firing line and joey and da Cruz shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. Obviously there are a load of issues at the club and I’m not burying me head in the sand here but I still think we can pick up some results.

If the players get their heads right,I can see us picking results where we are not expecting to get anything at all.:tango:

This is my guesstimate based on current form...

Forest (H)               1 pts

Bristol (A)               0 pts

WBA (H)                 0 pts

Swansea (A)           1 pts

Preston (H)             0 pts

QPR (A) .                0 pts

Fulham (A)              0 pts

Middlesbrough (H) 3 pts

Total                       5 pts  53 pts (17th/18th)

Missed Huddersfield game 3 pts for that one so 56 pts and 16th then...

2 points if we are lucky.

If we get a points deduction we will befucked.

Think you're being over optimistic.

Go on then, I'll take part in this utterly pointless exercise.

Forest (H)               3pts

Bristol (A)               1 pt

WBA (H)                 1 pt

Swansea (A)           0 pts

Preston (H)             3 pts

QPR (A) .                0 pts

Huddersfield (H)    1 pt

Fulham (A)              0 pts

Middlesbrough (H) 3 pts

12 pts - Finish on 60 pts.

Any points deduction, and it's going to be mightily tight.

At least it's Nottingham Forest next and they are one of the only teams we have a good record against.

Forest regularly "do a Wednesday" and drop points against teams they should beat comfortably. Sadly we are Wednesday so will likely find a way to out Wednesday them and still lose.

I think that makes sense!

We'll get a draw out of Forest, then Bristol City who haven't won in 5 games, will lose to Blackburn, that'll be no win in 6. Then when they play us it's a guaranteed 3pts for them. Unfortunately that would happen regardless of our form!

Brentford, no win in 5 games, smash us 5-0

Derby, no win in 4 games, 3-0

Reading, no win in 8 games, 3-0

Blackburn, no win in 6 games, smash us 5-0

Standard Wednesday.

With our current midfield we are shafted.

The first seven mins against Brentford we didn't touch the ball.

Saw on the highlights at one stage they had 88% possession. It's embarrassing.

Absolutely this.

Keep doing the same thing and we'll keep getting the same results.

Bannan/Lee

Bannan/Joey

Bannan/Lee/Joey

None of these will work, and before anyone says it it's not because Bannan is the common denominator, it's because none of those three win enough ball or can stifle opposition attacks.

We need to try something different. I've said before I'd try Palmer in midfield again, or I'd look to the U23s for a bit of steel and physicality (don't know if we have anyone though)

Bottom line is we desperately need a fit Luongo.
