I've heard first hand reports and admit I didn't go but just watched quest, what the holy f56k!?  Our defence can be poor and keepers wanting but that was something else! What the f00k was bannan doing with that dad run!? He took 45 steps and covered 6 yards whilst they walked through us, on two occasions! He should be shot for that 5th.

The third they actually had 3 passes and scored.. from their own box...on the floor...

Monk may be crap, which he is, but the sooner every one of these shysters pi55 off the better. Not one should be kept.

Not f88kin one of them

Bannan - Pelupessy ...it’s like have two players made out of wet, recycled bog-roll trying to ‘boss’ midfield. We know it, every other manager in the division knows it but it seems our own manager is either ignoring it or is that blind, because every week they ‘do good things in training’ that he refuses to see it.

Many of us fans have been saying the midfield needs addressing for months, if we can see it surely the man picking the team can.

He had a chance to do something about it during the January transfer window but chose to go for just strikers and to make the situation worse freeze the most effective one of the lot out.

Bannan has never and will never be the player to be that dominating midfield beast. We’ve been after that player since the playoff final season.

if we actually sign somebody to do the dirty work we’ll see a far better Barry Bannan. It was clear Joey wasn’t upto the task when he arrived. Yet he’s still playing.

Lee, Reach and Luongo were injured. Hutch is out of the squad.

Who would you have picked in CM?

Absolutely - Monk should come out and explain this.

Who else do you want to play there? Lee came off injured midweek, luongo injured, hutch spat his dummy out.
Also bannan is the best midfielder in the league (apparently)

Despite being on the side of a team that just capitulated 5-0, Bannan was still the highest rated player in the game for passes, passes completed and key passes. So yeah, he's pretty good.

Brilliant. 100 passes at the halfway line between himself and the CB’s.

The problem is that there is a lot more to central midfield play than just passing the ball around, tracking runners, tackling, positional sense etc all things which he is exceptionally poor at.

He’s used that combination before the injuries and we’ve been hammered every time. Managers are paid to manage ...we’ve had central defenders used in midfield  and we’ve used 5 across the middle or five at the back when injuries have forced changes. It’s about doing the best when circumstances dictate. Monk just seems to be blind to the bloody obvious!

If anyone seriously suggests Bannan and Pelupessy in a midfield two is the best we can do then I despair.
