striker Posted December 2, 2019 Share Posted December 2, 2019 £15m is a good price, add in a sell on percentage and think it would be a very good deal. Be sad to see him leave, but we need to learn to sell at the top of market value and we do have decent back up options. One caveat though is whether the EFL are insistent on points deductions, embargoes etc.. If we can't reinvest in the squad, what's the point of selling. It won't happen though, some teams seem to get great fees for their sold players, others either get peanuts or nothing. We're one of the others. If we're in a good position in contention for the playoffs then I think we would be wise holding off until the end of the season. Whatever he's worth in January he will still be worth the same amount in June and we won't have sold our best player (on this season's performances) halfway through the season. Bruce signing Borner, Harris and Iorfa for basically nothing is the way forwards.
