Surely if he is to go we can get more than £15m, didn't they sell Michael Keane for £30m? If it’s 15 million, sell sell sell
StudentOwl
Would be gutted to lose him... but for eight figures you've got to say yes. Add on a sell on clause and you're golden...
Guest Kagoshimaowl
How about 10 million plus Vydra as part of the deal?

But make sure there’s also a sell on fee, because the lad has the potential to be a top RB/CH/DM. And I’m sure we have plenty of replacements from our 200+ list. As per above - Burnley are also a selling club if Dom continues to improve. Hopefully some nippy forwards on our 200+ list - what we old uns wouldn't give for a Williams or Varadi to support Fletch up top.
Brommers
If we got £15m we gould buy the Kop back from DC.
room0035
If the OP is correct and they do make this sort of offer, this is one of those times that even though you don't want to lose the player the offer is too good to refuse. The £15m would give GM £5m to reinvest in the team and £10m to help balance the books.
Alan
The flipside to everyone shouting sell - which I can understand at 15 million - is that with a likely large points deduction coming our way, Iorfa is one of a small handful of great players that are pushing the team on. Lose quality players like him who take games by the scruff of the neck, we could quickly find ourselves in a hole we can't get out of. 15 million or relegation? Buxtongent
We pick up a bargain, start to develop him, and at the first signs of money , we want to sell! Do we want a football club or a large bank account?

Doubt we would be able to reinvest the money given FFP. Shouldn’t be a worry though given that we have Hutch, Lees, Thorniley and Bates in reserve. If ever we could sell a star player and absorb the impact then this would be it.
LoadABallacks
At those kinds of figures we have to sell (if remotely true). Lack of moving players on is what got us into this mess, not just wasting money on transfers. No doubt Wolves would have a sell on clause too, so would need to factor that in too,
lanzaroteowl
We can't afford not to. We have to sell when the players are showcasing their talents to the max. Otherwise we can end up with them in a decline in form. Like FF and Reach, touted at £12M each in their pomp. Now we'd struggle to get low £M offers. CF_Owl
With all the media attention about potential docked points, fines and embargos etc, any club interested would offer us less than he's worth as they know we need incoming cash. Unfortunately we'd probably have to accept a lower bid just to fend off FFP. Hopefully, if we didn't get a high value offer maybe they could loan him back until the summer as part of the deal so at least we can keep the quality until the end of the season. If we do receive a large points deduction, we would be involved in a relegation battle and there's no guarantee we would stay up by holding on to him. Keeping Iorfa makes no sense at all because if we were actually relegated his value would plummet. Sell now if the reports are true.

If we're getting punished for breaking limits anyway we don't need to "fend off FFP" at the moment unless we're heading for a huge loss this year as well which isn't entirely unlikely although it wouldn't be as high as previous years after ofloading a few big earners in the summer and getting a fee for Joao.. But I agree that any buying club would try and get him cheaper in the circumstances. We'll take £14.9m then!
