Bannan at full time

Recommended Posts

He is a senior player and should be supporting and encouraging the youngsters more.

I'm a big fan but that first half was a shocking performance and the way he ripped into Thorniley after an attempted pass was bang out of order.

Sorry Barry but you were poo and got a silly booking.

Better second half and don't know if someone had a word as he gave Joao a pat on shoulder after a mistake.

Can do better

He looked pissed from kick off. Kicked out at opposition players a few times, deliberately got booked in the first half as well.

Not a happy place at the moment. We need a strong character in there to get a grip, instil some confidence, and reconnect players and fans.

Well said. I believe his attitude and lack of physical ability made the decision for Sean Clare an easy one to leave.

Senior pro's who really care about the club should be welcoming the youngsters, but greed depicts certain individuals being protective over their squad positions and unwilling to pass that torch.

It's a good job Thorniley has probably been brought up in way to respect seniors,  assuming his RL Dad has shaped some of his attitude, or he might've pulled BB's arms off at half time.

Thorniley is the only good thing to come out of this utter sh*tstorm of a season. He'll go on to have a far better career than the likes of Tom Lees, Hector and JVA.

Looked totally peed off, so called supporters booing and shouting for Jos out, total motivation to one of our best

I think I looked totally peed off at full time too.

Never mind full time, look at the video of the players walking out of the dressing room before kick off.

Never seen a more depressed looking set of individuals before a game, that alone tells you where we are at as a club and a team.

No belief or motivation left in that playing group. Forget football if that was how your staff started the day's work, questions would be asked in any business or occupation.  We need leadership on and off the field.

Totally agree, some people shout for him to be skipper! Bonkers.

Throws his his arms around complaining when the balls a meter or two away still in play. Plus watch his heroic effort to close the ball down on their second goal!

He can do so much better, can inspire others to do better, can make others play better yet isn’t. Maybe he’s trying to hard, feeling pressure but he’s far from his best and hanging his teammates out to dry.
