owls maniac
Really great listen, John comes across a top bloke. Well done to the podcast team for that one. Oh if only we could turn the clock back to 1991.

A fantastic goal, and every round of that cup run after that goal I knew we were going to win. The pod cast is a great listen. John Harkes makes a comment that the Wednesday fans were part of that Cup run. He felt the players could feel us "urging them on" and that made a big difference to them. We need to bring that attitude back to Hillsborough.

Great steep stand at the baseball, 3/4k of Wednesday fans were in Shiltons earhole all the first half chanting Tina, Tina at the time of his affair and then Harkes launches that thunderbolt, not a good night for the England keeper. One of the best games I've attended for atmosphere that night.
Colinwestzicoest
Just read up about the Tina episode. Must correct myself 'alledged affair'. Got caught in his car down a lane with another guys wife by the husband! Then fled & hit a lampost. Make of that what you will. Didn't realise it was in 1980, poor guy had the chants following him round grounds for the next 15 years or so!
