Seriously?

I must have been watching a different game.

He tries, but he is so behind the pace its untrue.

He is poor but a trier, like Semedo, JoC etc.

Actually Semedo was better.

He's far far from being a Hutchinson, but he had a very good game tonight, great tackling.

Slowly getting there I think in regards tk not pulling out of a challenge and putting himself about the pitch.

Its going to take time but I hope he'll mould into that role

100%.

He's not good enough if we have any sort of ambition left other than staying in the division.

This.

Some people need to get a grip. Not sure what he actually offers in the modern game - what attributes from doing the odd slide tackle has he got?

He's a trier. Put himself about a lot tonight. Dodgy timing with some of his challenges, but overall got his job done. Problem was the midfield trio of Penney, Bannan, and Pelupessy had no grasp of the game at all, so all we could do was go back to front and the ball didn't stick. We're a poor side.

Did ok. Left his mark on a few players.

If we are talking about being a good holding player, look at Norwood.  Joey doesn't have anything like that passing in his locker.

We have too many one dimensional midfielders, top teams have good all-rounders.
