it's interesting that when Carlos deemed KL ready he went on to make a huge difference to us as a team.

but it was the wrong decision as he wasn't ready apparently

Jo's has just given him a reserve game and he lasted 15 minutes.....was he ready?

did Jo's make the wrong decision?

No , as has been previously alluded to , pretty sure it was to see if he could t stand up to contact football . He's been out for 2 years , it's kinda now or never isn't it . Damage has clearly been done with the lad previously

Trying to compare coming back in a reserve game and playing 15 minutes to playing in a critical highly competitive Championship game is pathetic.

It shows that you know nothing about football.

I’ve read that story twice and...forgive me for being dumb, but it basically says ‘Kieran Lee went for a scan’?

Which we knew already?

I think there were rumours knocking around that he went for scan after the game.

The main point of the article is that the scan was for his knee though, not the hip.

I guess we'll know more tomorrow when Jos speaks to the press.

It's not his hip. It's his knee.

The Star not really giving us much of an update, but the fact it's not the hip has to be 'good' news.

Didn't he have a serious knee injury before his serious hip injury? :duntmatter:

I'm sure he was out for a while with his knee, a photo of his leg appeared on here.

its common knowledge that if someone has an injury in sports that they can get a another injury to something else ,if its just a minor thing to his knee then I guess that's normal ,if its something serious ie 6months out then I doubt the lad will have the fight to continue as he needs to get playing this season to get a new contract next summer here or elsewhere . I know he was rushed back the person I spoke to should well know , he should never have played that season after his hip op , carlos wanted prem league at all costs and he was sent for an injection to allow him to begin training and then playing as he was taking longer than they wanted and was still getting pain and soreness, that's a fact, whether it was solely Carlos's fault ,medical team  or even Kieran himself who wanted desperately to comeback who knows . clearly was the wrong decision but whether not rushing him back would have made any difference long term who knows , a hip op aint good for anyone  never mind a professional athlete.

I wonder if anyone knows what happens in a case like this, where a flippin valuable player hardly played for 2 seasons through a very serious it seems injury just cannot get fit.   God forbid this doesn't happen  but is there insurance for such a thing ?

I presume keiron will have something to protect his livelihood - will we?

qualify as what? regards injuries if a player has been out a while with an injury quite often they pick up a secondary while trying to regain fitness, jos also spoke about this recently in one of his pre match press conferences

Qualify as a football injury expert, with a specialism in never having seen the player.

Quite niche that.

Bit like everyone blaming Carlos for Lee's injury. It's up there with blaming the Cubans for shooting JFK. Started as a random idea and rumour on here, and now carries more weight than Bella Emberg after a kebab breakfast. It's suddenly the truth, and it won't be long before the story revolves around Carlos, Keiron Lee and six bullets.

Can you please tell Mr Mason that. He seems to think they are all on £50,000 basic.
