Nuhiu's Second Goal

Atdhe Nuhiu has had a hand in 56% of Sheffield Wednesday's 16 goals under manager Jos Luhukay in all competitions (six goals, three assists).

Stats before todays game started.

Love the big lad and by the reaction of the bench today, so does everyone else.

He's earned a contract extension, no doubt about it.

It sort of sums this season up that in a squad full of players with huge transfer fees and on weekly wages it’s a free transfer, who’s been here for years that’s delivering the goods.

Well done Big Man, that was an absolutely brilliant performance and what a goal to cap it off. Give him a new contract, by God he’s earned it.

some of us loved him even when he didn't score   he almost always contributes when not scoring

Always have if you've seen my threads.

If the Messi's of this world had scored that second, we'd be sick of seeing replays of it.

Was brilliant real time and can't wait to see it on TV.

Lovely goal from Nuhiu.

Probably the single best goal I have seen him score for us.

Great tactic at the corner flag dragging the opposition players closer and closer.

I don't think even our own players knew what Atdhe had planned.

Masterclass.

He was completely ineffective being on his own in first half. His job seems to be to hold or not on to the front guy but he was on his own.  Joao came on and it was a totally different game.

Moment of brilliance today. Can't deny he's getting more regular at it. That was his best moment with us and I'm glad I was there to see it.

I've been as vocal as any when players under-perform. Dave is no exception.

It would be nice if people could be flexible and objective rather than sticking to their guns in spite of the evidence in front of their eyes.

Nuhiu had a shocking run in which he didn't score for over a year - any criticism was entirely justifiable. That he's on fire now doesn't erase the past, but I doubt any SWFC supporter is unhappy that he's scoring for fun.

Using his short term success as a needle to poke other supporters is both crass and pointless.

pathetic drivel. Nuhui (he is not Dave, certainly no to the likes of his critics) was criticised to a point beyond reason by small minority on here. Not people making fair comment. But people calling him the worst player they have seen here. Let those people be poked.
